1937 Universal “Wide Step Chronograph” 33mm in Stainless Steel
A beautiful 1937 33mm stainless steel very rare step design chronograph with black Roman dial, manufactured in 1937 by Universal with its own Cal.281. It is equipped with a small chronograph movement Cal.281, approximately 28mm in diameter, which became the basis for the later Tricompax model. The dial design is very rare with the tachymeter and telemetere scales, applied Roman and dot indexes design, and the wide stepped case in Enversteel material has a long lug width size of 20mm despite its small dial size of 33mm. All these qualities make this a beautiful piece of jewelry. Combined with the black Roman dial with its luster, this is a very rare piece that has a wonderful presence beyond its size.
