Manufactured in the 1940's, this JARDUR "Bezel meter" with rare Valjoux 71 is a popular ss 38mm screw back chronograph with tropical dial. The unique and original design of this chronograph was designed for pilots, with a rotating bezel with countdown and 24-hour time display, allowing for flight time measurement and GMT functions. At the time, only Breitling and JARDUR had a chronograph with such a function, and the ingenious design that resulted from this special feature was truly functional. The Bezel meter is available in a variety of versions, including the Val-71, the later Val-72, and in water-resistant and non-water-resistant cases. This model is equipped with rare Val-71, 38mm screw back waterproof case
