Eberhard, Cal. 16''' powereed, 18 karat yellow gold, 39 mm diameter dial, rare stepped design bezel, chronograph, black dial with snail tachymeter scale, circa 1940s. It is equipped with the Cal.16 line, which is different from the later Cal.14000 movement in terms of? curvature and finishing. The 2 o'clock chrono button is used to start, stop and reset the chronograph, while the 4 o'clock button, which looks like a button at first glance, is a sliding mechanism that can be slid upwards to activate the hacking mechanism while the chronograph is running. The 18-karat yellow gold case with a stepped bezel, which is rare in Eberhard, where smooth bezels are often seen, gives the watch a strong presence, and the black dial with telemeter and snail tachymeter scale by undercoating is a rare gem with an impactful expression. The chronographs made by Eberhard are highly regarded for their originality, design and quality, including the impactful oversized case with its original chronograph movement and the intricate, complex and wonderful dial design.
