This is a rare black snailed dial ss 37mm step design chronograph with "SPARTA" Landeron movement manufactured in the 1930s.
The 37mm staybright case with stepped design and multifaceted cut finish, and the black snailed dial with all-printed white lettering instead of gilt undercoating, are the best examples of the period and its wonderful taste. It is equipped with a movement made by Landeron, a company that supplied machines to many brands.
