Minerva, Valjoux 723 powered, water-resistant, stainless steel, triple calendar chronograph, mint condition, circa 1960s. It is equipped with the famous Valjoux 72 series caliber 723, which is known as the "Kyrie model" of Rolex. The mechanical design of the triple calendar and three registers are considered to be the pinnacle of vintage chronos and is very popular. The dial is neatly designed with luminous numbers and blued steel hands, and the screw back waterproof case with a sense of gravity unique to Minerva of this era is a gem that attracts a wonderful presence. The case is in good condition, with the original shaping and engraving on the back of the case still intact, and the luminescence on the dial and hands still retains its original tritium luminescence.
