Manufactured in the 1950s, this is a highly rare Co-Axial, Non-Push Waterproof Chronograph with the SAPHO brand and equipped with the Landeron Cal.251 movement. Unlike button operation, this watch allows for chronograph activation, winding of the mainspring, and time adjustment solely through the crown, showcasing the exceptional rarity of the Landeron Cal.251 movement. When the crown is turned twice towards the front while it is in the case, the chronograph starts; turning it towards the back stops it, and turning it further back resets it. In the stopped state, turning the crown towards the front allows for a restart. With a single pull of the crown, the mainspring is wound, and with a double pull, time adjustment is performed. This Non-Push Chronograph, unlike any other, demonstrates extraordinary innovation and is an exceedingly valuable and unique masterpiece. The Co-Axial chronograph with Cal. 251 was manufactured by Nicolet Watch and is signed Nicolet Watch on the case and the machine. The crown is also original with an "N" engraving.
