Longines, Cal. 12.68z powered, "Stop Second", two-tone silvered dial, retailed by Camerer Cuss & Co., circa late 1930s. Based on the famous Longines Cal.12.68z, this watch is equipped with a stop-seconds movement with an additional 60-second counter. By setting the watch hand to exactly zero and activating the chronograph, the time can be measured up to 12 hours. It also has a hack function and a simple flyback function, and at a time when many manufacturers were creating chronographs by trial and error. It is a rare retailed model from the British jewelry store Camerer Cuss & Co. The store name written in an arch and the brand logo written at the 6 o'clock position give it a unique double branded look that differs from the normal model, and the stop-second function is displayed in red print only on the 12 o'clock index. It has become a structure that specializes in the function. It also comes with its valuable original store box, vintage strap, and an archival document from its time.
