This is a very rare 1950's Rolex "Date Compax" Ref.4768 RG&SS non-Oyster model. This rare model is equipped with the Val-72C, which has triple calendar and three register chronograph functions just like the "KyrieWatch", the pinnacle of Rolex chronographs. The case design is unique to non-Oyster watches, and the powder white dial with a small crown design that can be seen on Kyrie watches of the same era is a wonderful gem that gives a taste unique to the 50s. It is said that only 220 pieces were produced, and it is a precious RG&SS combination model that is even rarer than the SS model.
