A mid-1940s Breitling "Premier" chronograph featuring the renowned Venus 150 movement, this is a rare early-model screw-back waterproof case with a black gilt tachymeter dial. Unlike standard screw-back cases with external threading on the case back, this rare early model features internal threading on the case back. The dial is a stunning black tachymeter dial produced using the gilt technique, showcasing a distinct aesthetic unique to Breitling of this era, different from the brand's staple models like the Chronomat and Navitimer. It is equipped with the legendary Venus Cal. 150, widely used in many chronographs.
