Manufactured in 1933 – Rolex Oyster Bubbleback
This is an extremely rare first model "Rolesor" with a matte white dial and applied numeral design. It features an early 4-piece waterproof case structure consisting of the bezel, middle case, case back, and movement holder. It houses the automatic Caliber 520 movement, which has operating instructions engraved on it—a historically significant and highly valuable piece in Rolex history.
In 1933, Rolex obtained the patent for ROLESOR (a two-tone case). While two-tone cases are not uncommon today, at the time they were groundbreaking, highlighting the special status of this model within Rolex's lineup.
The dial, known as a "single rail" design, features a minute track and applied indexes—a beautiful example of classic dial design. Combined with the Rolesor case, it presents an outstanding vintage aesthetic.
