1940s Eterna Baby Chronograph with Valjoux 69 – Rare Square Design, Two-Tone Dial
This is a beautifully preserved baby chronograph featuring the highly regarded Valjoux 69 movement, housed in an exceptionally rare square case design. Among the already scarce baby chronographs, this square-cased version stands out for its unique presence, with a substantial, well-proportioned volume and a case shape reminiscent of hooded lugs, giving it a bold and sophisticated appeal.
The silver dial, complemented by striking blue steel hands, features a refined two-tone color scheme. Despite its minimalist layout without additional scales such as a snail tachymeter, the design remains well-balanced and stylish.
This timepiece is equipped with the renowned Valjoux Cal. 69, one of the "Big Three" baby chronograph movements, which was also used by Rolex. While not original, a mesh bracelet that matches the watch’s aesthetic is included, accommodating wrist sizes up to 18cm.
