Late 1940s Manufacture - Omega Rare "Centenary" Model Celebrating Omega's 100th Anniversary
This is a beautifully preserved Omega Centenary model, produced in 1948 to commemorate the brand's 100th anniversary. The case is made of solid 18k gold, and the dial indices are also crafted from solid gold. It houses the chronometer-grade Cal. 333 movement, which features the same fine regulation system as the renowned 30mm chronometer calibers, demonstrating the exceptional craftsmanship befitting a commemorative model.
This piece showcases the stunning "Pink-on-Pink" combination, with a pink gold case and a pink dial that exude elegance. The pink gold case retains its original shape, while the pink two-tone dial exhibits an iridescent oil sheen. Additionally, the movement remains in outstanding condition, showing no signs of stripped screw heads or aging. The excellent preservation of this timepiece further enhances its rarity, making it a true collector's item.
