An Omega manufactured in the early 1940s, featuring the Cal. 26.5 movement, in a 30.5mm stainless steel waterproof model with a rare black gilt dial in excellent condition. The overall preservation is impressive, and it includes what appears to be the original leather strap and buckle, as well as a collector's item tag from the time with the reference number, caliber number, and unique movement number. The black gilt dial with luminous numerals has aged beautifully, adding a vintage feel, while the compact 30.5mm case, with its screw-back waterproof construction, gives the stainless steel case a substantial presence. Together with its remarkable preservation, it exudes a presence beyond its size. It is powered by Omega's in-house Cal. 26.5 movement.
