An exquisite piece from the early 1960s: Breitling’s masterpiece, the 'Navitimer' Ref. 806, a rare 1st generation model in excellent condition. Its distinctive design with a rotating slide rule remains a signature of Breitling and is continued in current models. This first-generation model showcases unique features such as the dotted design rotating bezel, syringe hands, and an all-black dial. With a beautifully preserved black mirror finish on the all-black gilt dial and an oversized 40mm+ case that retains its original shape and volume, this watch is a superbly preserved collector's item. It is powered by the renowned Venus Cal. 178, a legendary movement that Venus supplied to many chronograph makers.
