A very rare 1940s Cartier Tank 8''' model in 18k yellow gold, in SM size. It is equipped with the Caliber 8''', produced by EWC, a movement synonymous with vintage Cartier. The dial, changed from a matte to an enamel-like finish, is an off-white color that has a unique texture and appearance, distinctly different from the lacquered dials of the 1970s. Despite its compact SM size, the striking sapphire cabochon crown and beautiful Tank design give this piece a presence beyond its size. It includes the original fixed 18k yellow gold D-buckle (13mm), a valuable accessory.
