This is an extremely rare and unused "Multicron Navigator North Pointer" from Excelsior Park, manufactured in the 1940s. Although there are minor scratches and signs of aging due to storage, the unpolished stainless steel case and the beautiful, glossy three-color dial exhibit a stunning appearance, characteristic of an unused item. The movement features a 24-hour indicator and a North Pointer hand (in red) that functions as a compass. The second hand can be stopped (hack function) by pressing the crown at the 9 o'clock position, and the second hand can be set by pressing and turning the crown. It could be used for synchronizing time between pilots or as a split-second chronograph when combined with the chronograph function. Although similar models were also produced by Gallet and Zenith at the time, they rarely appear on the market, and the excellent preservation of this piece further enhances its rarity.
