A Rolex Ref.3029 'Saturno' from the late 1930s, featuring an exceptionally rare 18K rose gold Disco Volante with a salmon dial. This model was sold under the name 'Saturno' (Saturn) in 1938 and is now known as the U.F.O. or Disco Volante, with its distinctive flying saucer-like design. It houses the Cal.10-1/2 movement in a non-Oyster case. This model was exclusively produced in 18K gold, with the bezel featuring intricately crafted Roman numerals in an inlaid finish. The salmon dial, with a white circle reminiscent of the bubble backs of the same era, combined with the 18K rose gold case, exhibits a beautiful color and design unique to that period, making it a precious piece.
