Manufactured in the 1950s, this is an Alpina watch with a rare "FB" case featuring a cross design and an engraved tropical dial. It uses the screw-back waterproof case made by FB, known for its association with Patek Philippe, which is very rare for Alpina. The round-shaped FB case from later years features a mushroom crown, dust cover, and a unique serial number engraved on the middle case and the case back, allowing you to appreciate the distinctive design and craftsmanship of the FB case. The dial boasts a cross design and engraved indexes created using the gilt method, similar to the case, exhibiting exceptional design and craftsmanship. The color change from black to brown adds a vintage flavor to this exquisite piece.
