This is a 1940s Ebel chronograph featuring the rare Venus 140 movement and a popular black snail dial in excellent condition. The chronograph is designed with a focus on its chronograph function, including a time display function at the 12 o'clock position on the dial. The beautiful black gilt dial retains its luster and features a telemeter (gold), minute track (pink), and snail tachymeter, all laid out on the dial, giving it a unique and distinguished appearance among the various chronographs. The Cal. 140 movement has a unique operation method, with the button at 4 o'clock used for start, stop, and restart, and the button at 2 o'clock used for reset.

Case: Minor scratches and age, but in good condition with the original shape and volume, and the engraving on the back cover still intact.

Dial: very clean with no noticeable scratches or stains. The entire dial retains a crisp black mirror luster.
