This is a Rolex Oyster "Royalite" Ref. 2280 with a matte white dial from the 1930s. The 24-hour markings on the rail track, large luminous numbers, and the rare "OBSERVATORY" designation on the matte white dial reflect the era's style, with beautifully aged patina showcasing a wonderful vintage taste. Despite its small 30mm size, the Oyster case provides a substantial feel, and the rare big crown gives it a presence beyond its size. It is equipped with the Cal. 10-1/2, used in many hand-wound models of the same period. It comes with a Gay Frères expansion slate bracelet (fits wrist size ~17.5cm).
