This is a description of a vintage Rolex Oyster Chronograph Ref.6034 SS with a Super Oyster case and a powder white dial, manufactured in the early 1950s. It's a rare Oyster chronograph predating the Ref.6238 and Ref.6234, known as the Pre-Daytona. The powder white dial, also found in contemporary Perpetual and manual-winding models, features a tachymeter (in black) and a telemeter (in blue) on the outer periphery, along with alpha hands and wedge-shaped indexes, characteristic of chronographs from this era.
This exceptional piece showcases the unique features of chronographs from that time. It is equipped with the renowned Cal.72 movement by Valjoux, fitted into the Super Oyster case, which had a very short production period. It comes with a oyster rivet bracelet (fits wrist sizes up to 18cm).
