This is a description of a highly rare Israeli Defense Forces model of the Eterna-Matic Super Kontiki, equipped with the Eterna Caliber 1489K, manufactured in the late 1960s. Based on the 40mm diver's watch Ref.130FTP, it was supplied to the Israeli Defense Forces, with a supply number engraved on the case back. The Ref.130FTP features an in-house automatic movement Caliber 1489K with a quick-change calendar function, utilizing ball bearings within the automatic rotor. The solid 40mm screw-back waterproof case adopts a rare screw-down crown for this era, and it features a unique black gilt dial with luminous paint, showcasing high quality and innovative design suitable for military use. CASE : Minor scratches and age, but retains original shaping and volume, medallion and serial number on the back. The rotating bezel is in good working order. The windshield is also original.
