This is a description of a mid-1930s Universal Cal.281-powered SS 32mm Calatrava chronograph with a 3-color scale dial. The flat bezel of the Calatrava case, while not waterproof, has a solid construction and combines with the blued steel sword hands on the jumping numerals to create a charming classical taste. It's a splendid piece showcasing the Cal.281 small chronograph movement that was later incorporated into the Tricompax. It's a unique piece with "COMPUR," often independently indicated, listed alongside. Vintage straps and buckles believed to be from that time are included.
