Manufactured in the mid-1940s, this is a very rare 18-karat pink gold Omega wristwatch featuring the Omega Cal.30.10RAPC movement. It is an early model bumper automatic waterproof watch. In 1943, Omega introduced its first bumper automatic winding movement, the Cal.30.10RAPC. This watch is unique in that it uses 18-karat pink gold, which is very rare for early bumper automatic models. Most early bumper automatic watches feature metal O-rings in their snap-back waterproof cases, but this one stands out with its use of 18-karat pink gold. Snap-back waterproof cases with O-rings had a short production period, and most were made of stainless steel. During that time, solid gold models were produced in both 18-karat and 14-karat variants, making the 18-karat solid gold model extremely precious. The two-tone dial, featuring raised bullet indices and leaf hands, exudes a sense of luxury. The pink-on-pink combination of the pink gold case and pink dial creates a stunning and captivating aesthetic.
