This is a late 1960s masterpiece from International - the "Aquatimer" 2nd Generation Ref.816AD with a black dial. Introduced in 1968, the Ref.816 featured a water resistance of 300mm, which was impressive at that time. It showcased an impactful design with a screw-back waterproof case and dial color variations, reminiscent of the style seen in the 1970s. The watch boasts a high level of craftsmanship, equipped with the in-house Cal.8541B movement, which includes a quick-change mechanism for the calendar and a hacking feature.
