It is a highly rare and beautiful piece from the early 1940s, a Rolex Oyster Bubbleback Ref.3134. Unlike the typical vertical-horizontal two-tone finish, this watch features a circle-vertical finish on the dial, which is extremely unusual. The circle-vertical finish gives it a glossier appearance compared to a regular two-tone dial, and combined with its excellent preserved condition, it highlights the beautiful two-tone color. This exceptional timepiece also embodies the classic Bubbleback style that differs from later models, with features such as the absence of the crown logo, a rail track, big Arabic numerals, a triangle hand, and a three-piece case, which is the early type for the Bubbleback in NA size. The watch comes with superb preservation, and it includes the original mid-lugs and Gay Frères bracelet (compatible with a wrist size of up to 18cm). It is a high-quality piece that represents the essence of the vintage Bubbleback style.
