"It is a highly rare stainless steel 33mm Calatrava design watch manufactured in the early 1940s by Vacheron Constantin. It features a beautiful black gilt dial. During this era, the use of stainless steel material for a Calatrava case was particularly unusual. The rare black dial has a gilt finish for all the logos, and it has a case diameter of 33mm and a strap width of 19mm, making it larger in size compared to the Patek Philippe Ref. 96 from the same period. It is equipped with the superb Cal. 453 movement, featuring exquisite finishing touches such as Côtes de Genève and perlage."
