Late 1940's production Rolex Oyster "Elegante" two-tone dial, rare gold field model. This rare piece is a rare Rolex with a gold field case.
The dial is a two-tone silver color with flying numerals, dotted luminescent indexes and propeller hands, a design unique to this period. The dial, which has turned ivory with age, and the gold field case are in excellent harmony and give the watch a vintage look.
