This is a beautiful example of the popular black dial chronograph with unmarked Venus 170 manufactured in the 1940s. Although there are a few minor scratches and age-related changes, the steel back case retains the sharp edges of a non-polished case, and the black dial with its beautiful luster and iridescent oil film is a gem in mint condition. The black dial with a beautiful glossy finish is a multi-scale design with tachymeter, telemeter, and minute track, which is different from the two (or three) horizontal chronographs that have become the standard in modern times. It is equipped with the Cal. 170 manufactured by Venus, which used to supply machines to many brands.
