This is a very rare 18kt pink gold screw back watch with a Vacheron Constantin Cal.477/1 Bumper Automatic with multi-guilloche dial, manufactured in the early 1950s. This is a rare and precious watch that combines the elegance of Vacheron Constantin with the robustness of screw-back water-resistance, including the beautifully finished multi-guilloché dial and the gorgeous 18k pink gold case with step lug design. This is one of the few Vacheron watches of this age with a screw-back water-resistant case and a well-designed inlaid dial, which is one of the most beautifully crafted vintage Vacheron watches of all time. It is equipped with a beautifully finished Cal. 477/1 based on Jaeger-LeCoultre.
