Late 1930s Rolex Ref. 3055 18kt yellow gold baby chronograph with the famous Val-69, very rare black sector dial. Equipped with the rare Val-69, the smallest chronograph in the world at the time, with a diameter of only 23 mm. Among the many chronographs that Rolex produced, this rare 18k gold black sector dial is a true gem in terms of rarity and design. The rare black sector dial has a telemeter, tachymeter, minute track, and logos all gilted, giving the baby chronograph a more concentrated design. The same design is shown in a catalogue from 1938. Comes with a valuable original vintage buckle (gold plated).
