This is a very rare and unused Universal "Aerocompax" SS 33mm fancy lug design chronograph manufactured in the mid-1940s. Although there are some minor scratches and age-related changes due to storage, the watch retains its characteristic case form perfectly, and comes with a leather strap that is believed to be from that period, making it a very valuable gem. The Aerocompax is a special chronograph with a memento dial at 12 o'clock, which is used to store the time, and is operated by a dedicated crown at 9 o'clock. The unparalleled four-eye dial design is an originality that only Universal, a chronograph manufacturer that produced many movements, could have achieved, and the 33mm size gives the watch a wonderfully concentrated appearance.
