This is a beautiful example of a mid-1940s Longines "Seitake" rare 31mm model with black gloss dial, a rare piece with a 31mm case, a rarity for the Seitake, which is often seen with 33mm cases. The black gilt dial with radium luminescence from the period retains its beautiful luster and iridescent oil film, and the round-shaped screw-back waterproof case, as seen on later Seitakes, retains its original shape and engraving on the back cover.
