Rolex, Ref. 2811, Calatrava-style bezel, chronograph, Valjoux 23 powered, yellow gold, silvered dial, retailed by Ronchi Milano, in mint condition, circa 1930s.
The silver dial, which retains its beautiful luster and crisp, detailed print, is a wonderfully condensed design that combines the tachymeter scale (black), telemeter scale (blue), and minute track (black) with embossed Arabic and artillery shell indexes, and the Calatrava case, which retains its original shape-like The egg pushers, which have not been seen in later years, give this very precious gem a wonderful vintage taste. It has the imprinted name of the Italian watch jeweler "Ronchi Milano" for its collaboration with Rolex.
