This is a very rare platinum model of the Patek Philippe Ref. 1593, commonly known as the "Hourglass", which represents Patek Philippe's rectangular watches manufactured in 1949. The beautiful case shape is reminiscent of an hourglass, which is also the origin of the model's name, and is a collectible that every Patek collector would like to own at least once. Platinum cases often have diamond indexes, so it is very rare to find one without diamond indexes. Comes with original buckle and archives from later years.
