Breitling "Duograph" Ref.764, circa mid-1940s.
The split-seconds chronograph, with its complex and well-designed split-wheel and stopper, is one of the most special of all chronographs and was produced only in very small numbers by a limited number of brands. Most of them are not water-resistant, and a water-resistant split-seconds chronograph is even rarer. The weight of the waterproof case with its split-seconds chronograph movement is breathtaking.
