Longines, Cal. 30CH, chronograph without flyback function, circa late 1940s.
It was made in 1948, shortly after the launch of the 30CH, and is a valuable reference piece for the transition from the 13zn to the 30CH. The silvered dial with its non-winged design, reminiscent of the 13zn, and the fat lug case with its heavy construction are also attractive features of the old Longines. The Longines in-house calibre chronograph is a perfectly established classic in the history of watchmaking and will continue to be appreciated and passed down from generation to generation. An archival document is included (1949).
