Zenith, Cal. 135 powered, rare engraved screw back model, rare Fabre-Leuba co-branded watch, circa 1950s.
It is equipped with the Cal.135 chronometer movement. There are many variations of dials and cases, and this particular one has a silver dial with a sense of luxury that combines dauphine hands with a wedge index that has been cut and finished on several sides, attracting the look of the times. The "ZENITH CHRONOMETRE/SHOCK&WATER PROTECTED/NON-MAGNETIC☆STAINLESS STEEL" engraving on the back cover, which is not normally seen, is thought to have been produced temporarily to emphasize its high practicality. It is a valuable co-branded model of the long-established Swiss watch brand Fabre-Leuba with a history of over 250 years.
