Longines, Cal. 17.26 powered, very rare ø 43 mm oversized, tropical radiation brown dial, circa late 1930s.
This model is equipped with the rare Cal.17.26, which rarely appears on the market. Most of the Cal.17 models are rarely sold in overseas auctions, and most of them have chrome or steel back cases, and this model is a very rare one because of its staybrite case. The original black radiating dial has been changed to a beautiful brown color, and combined with the 43mm oversize.
The accompanying archive shows it being shipped to Poland in 1933, which may be an error for 1938; it was reissued in 2019 as "Heritage Military 1938".
