Breitling, Ref.777, stainless steel, ø 38mm, screw caseback, chronograph, very rare two-tone black and gray two-tone dial, circa 1940s.
This is a rare early type of Ref.777 that can be found in premieres and other places, with a water resistant case (the shape of the back cover is different). The dial is a black and gray two-tone base with rouletted telemeter, tachymeter, and Arabic indexes, which is a wonderful design unique to the 40's. It is a gem with a wonderful quality of textured aging on its dial. It is equipped with the famous Venus Cal.175, which is also equipped with the Chronomat. It is a precious original black dial with a unique look of the 1940s, which is rare in Breitling.
