Longines, very rare 37.5mm, Big Calatrava case design, Cal.15.26 powered, lack radiation dial, circa 1938.
This is a rare Big Calatrava model with a large Cal.15.26 movement, which is rarely seen except for Czech military models of the same age. It was mainly manufactured for Europe for a short period of time from 1936 to 1939, and had many dial variations such as silver, white, black, yellow, porcelain, etc., which were also used for some military models. This model is in an excellent state of preservation with no signs of deterioration in the radium luminescence or black mirror from that time, and with the well textured and aged radium indexes and the massive construction of the big Calatrava case, it is a gem with a great taste reminiscent of military watches. It comes with an archive copy.
