A very rare 14k yellow gold, oversized 38mm model from the late 1930s, featuring the Longines Cal. 15.94 movement. It has a yellow two-tone sector dial. The watch is equipped with the large 15-ligne Cal. 15.94 movement, known from Czech military models. What makes this piece particularly special is its solid gold case, which is quite rare for watches with a 15-ligne movement. The side of the case features a beautifully detailed coin-edge finish, unique to solid gold models and not found on steel models.
The dial has a yellow two-tone base sector design, paired with square-shaped, unique Breguet hands, typical of this era's remarkable design. The combination of the yellow dial and yellow gold case, often referred to as 'yellow on yellow,' creates an exceptional, harmonious color scheme.
