Vulcain, Val. GHT powered, rare ø 37 mm, cushion chronograph, two-tone silver dial with multi-scale and Breguet indexes, stainless steel, circa 1930s.
It is equipped with a rare one-push chronograph movement Cal.GHT based on the Valjoux 22, which was used by Longines in the same period as the Cal.15 line. The 37mm big cushion case, which is particularly rare among the rare cushion chronographs, gives the watch an overwhelming presence, and the dial, with its silver two-tone base, telemeter, snail tachymeter, Breguet indexes and sword hands made of blued steel, gives it a period look. Vulcan also produced some masterpieces, such as the later Cricket, as well as high quality chronographs in the 1930s and 1940s.
