This is a rare Universal Watch "Cabriolet" manufactured in 1934, the year of the world's first reversible case in the late 1920's and renamed Universal Watch. The unique reversible case, which was designed to be shock resistant, is one of the best vintage rectangular models in terms of size and weight, and combined with the silver two-tone dial, which is a wonderful design unique to this era, it is a gem with a wonderful vintage taste. The watch is equipped with a Cal.18U square movement, which is rare for Universal, which has produced many chronographs throughout the ages.
