This is a 1940s manufactured Eterna with the famous Val-22 SS 38mm rare clamshell early waterproof chronograph black dial. This rare piece has a clamshell case, which is rare for Eterna, which is often seen with screw-back cases. The dial is a popular bar index design that is understated yet atmospheric, and the beautiful glossy black gilt dial and heavy clamshell case give the watch a wonderful vintage look. This chronograph is equipped with Valjoux's famous Cal. 22 (703E), which has been adopted by many brands such as Rolex, and its high quality and design have been increasingly recognized in recent years.
