Manufactured in 1944, this is an Omega famous Cal.27CHRO12 ss? chronograph with a gray two-tone dial. It is equipped with the Lemania Cal.27CHRO12, which is the base of the Cal.321 used in the later Speedmaster. The two-tone gray dial with its beautiful color combination of tachymeter (white), minute track (black), white printed Arabic and leaf hands is a wonderful dial design unique to the 40s. The fancy lug case, though small in size at 33mm, is elaborately crafted, and combined with the condensed dial design of the three registers, it is a precious gem with a wonderful presence that exceeds its size.
