This is a Tudor Oyster with a rare "Solar Aqua" matte white dial, manufactured in the 1940s. It was sold in North America through Eaton's department store in Canada. The dial does not have the Tudor signature but features the unique "SOLAR" sign. Unlike the usual luminous indices seen in many Tudor models, this one boasts embossed gold applied indices, giving it a luxurious and refined look. The mid-crown seen on the early Oyster cases, shared with Rolex models of the same era, also reflects the style of the period. It is equipped with the Fontmelon-manufactured Cal.59, finished with Côtes de Genève.
