This is a 1940's Doxa popular PP.565 design ss rare 35mm water proof model. It has a screw back waterproof case with a design reminiscent of Patek Philippe's model Ref.565. Doxa's 565 design also exists in 24mm and 28mm, but the 35mm size, the same as Patek Philippe Ref.565, is very rare. The impactful 565 case attracts a sense of presence, and the silver Bombay dial, which has aged well, is a gem that attracts a wonderful taste. Doxa is a brand that has attracted a lot of attention among obscure systems, such as chronographs and military, producing many models with excellent design and quality.
