This is a beautiful example of a very rare Cal.343 equipped model of the early bumper automatic Omega "Seamaster Chronometer" from the 1950s. This is a rare half-rotor bumper automatic from the days before full-rotor automatics, and it is equipped with the small seconds Cal.343, which has the same round slow and rapid hand adjustment as the chronometer-specification center seconds Cal.352. The screw back water resistant case is made of 18K and the silver Bombay dial with high quality upright numbers is an excellent example of the use of the best technology and materials of the time.
