This is a beautiful example of the rare 1970's Bulova "Marine Star" ss 43mm water proof chronograph, which is said to be one of the rare models that Bulova purchased from Zenith in the 1960's when they were using the TIPO CP-2 for their Italian Air Force model.
The basic design and size of the watch is the same, but the hour and minute hands and movement are different. The screw back water resistant case with screw down crown and the black matte dial with excellent legibility are reminiscent of the "TIPO CP-2" design and high quality. The black dial is well preserved, with no noticeable scratches or stains, and the screw back water resistant case retains its original shape. It also comes with a rare original bracelet (suitable for wrist size up to 19.5 cm).
